WD-R3X mini educational wheeled robot chassis with width less than 15cm, 4 optional drive modes: Ackermann, differential drive, 4WD, metal Mecanum wheel. Equipped with MG513X all-metal gear encoder motor, compatible with ROS secondary development. Compact staggered motor layout maintains high load capacity; support lidar, 2D gimbal expansion, free hinged stand & full original materials. Ideal for university robotics training, student competition and laboratory autonomous vehicle research.

Core Advantages

Four multi-drive optional schemes, one chassis covers all teaching experiments

Three-wheel version: 1 silent universal caster + two driving wheels, simple structure, low cost

Differential two-wheel drive: flexible turning, basic tracking & navigation teaching

4WD four-wheel drive: strong climbing, max 20° gradient, stable heavy load operation

Ackermann steering: real car steering logic, automobile engineering teaching

Metal Mecanum wheel: omnidirectional movement, max load 6kg, SLAM research preferred

Operation & Maintenance Precautions

Avoid long-term overload operation, do not exceed the maximum load marked for each drive version.

Regularly clean rubber tires, Mecanum wheels and universal casters to remove dust and sundries for smooth movement.

Do not disassemble MG513X motor gearbox privately; metal gears need regular lubrication for long-term use.

When installing lidar, gimbal and other accessories, fix screws moderately to avoid damaging the aluminum alloy bottom plate.

Store in dry indoor environment, prevent metal gears and wheel bearings from rusting due to dampness.
