WD-C400 4WD enclosed steel wheeled robot chassis fitted with 130mm rubber off-road tires. It supports two configurations: 37 encoder motors and high-power 550 motors. Abundant mounting holes are reserved. Compatible with the ROS system and supporting secondary development, it is suitable for the development of DIY robots, scientific research and teaching platforms, and inspection vehicles.

Product Overview

WD-C400 4WD enclosed steel wheeled robot chassis is a lightweight off-road mobile development platform for robot makers, university labs and autonomous robot projects. The vehicle adopts closed steel body structure for internal component protection, matched with 130mm large tread rubber off-road wheels.

Two motor configurations optional: 37 DC geared motor with encoder and 550 high-power DC geared motor for different speed and load demands. Massive reserved mounting holes on the top panel, fully compatible with ROS navigation system, support remote control, fixed-point patrol and customized secondary development. Widely used for robot education, SLAM research, inspection robot prototype and DIY robotic projects.

1.Enclosed Steel Protective Structure

Integrated closed steel chassis shell, effectively protect internal wiring, motors and circuits from collision, dust and splashes. Sturdy steel plate body improves overall structural stability.

2.130mm Large Off-Road Rubber Wheels

Deep pattern wear-resistant rubber tires with strong shock absorption and friction. Adapt to cement ground, lawn, gravel and various flat & slightly rugged terrain. Good obstacle-crossing performance.

3.Two Optional Motor Configurations

✅ 37 DC geared motor with encoder (Ratio 1:50, speed 0.5m/s, max load 2kg)

Suitable for precision navigation, odometer calculation, closed-loop control research.

✅ 550 high-power DC geared motor (Ratio 1:30, speed 2m/s, max load 5kg)

High speed and strong power, for fast moving patrol robot projects.

4.Perfect ROS & Secondary Development Support

Reserved standard motor installation positions and abundant mounting holes. Compatible with mainstream ROS control boards, support autonomous navigation, SLAM mapping, path planning, fixed-point patrol and remote RC control expansion.
