Custom Crawler Track Robot Chassis

Model:WD-K3
Custom Crawler Track Robot Chassis WD-K3 custom crawler track chassis adopts dual-motor differential drive with encoded brushless DC motors and full-interface drivers. Highly integrated and customizable, self-developed suspension ensures stable movement and superior trafficability. Equipped with 48V lithium battery with BMS protection and 150mm maintenance-free tracks, it can replace wheeled platforms for reconnaissance, inspection, exploration, research and teaching robots.

Derivative Robots based on WD-K3 chassis

1.Heavy-duty security reconnaissance robot:

Fit dual-spectrum PTZ camera, long-range wireless transmission and lidar for large-area factory & border patrol.

2.Fire fighting robot with high-pressure water cannon:

Upgrade to IP64 to work in high-temperature smoky fire sites for fire suppression and search & rescue.

3.Field geological exploration robot:

Carry soil samplers, gas detectors and geological radar for outdoor mineral & environmental data collection.

4.Research & teaching robot platform:

Spacious compartment holds development kits for university automation and robotics lab training.

5.Tunnel & pipeline inspection robot:

High ground clearance and obstacle crossing capacity for underground pipeline crack detection.

6.EOD heavy-load robot:

Support heavy mechanical manipulators and bomb detectors for remote dangerous explosion disposal missions.

FAQ

1.Q: What is the rated load capacity of WD-K3 chassis?

A: Chassis self-weight 155KG, rated load 125KG, enough for cameras, sensors and heavy operation modules.

2.Q: Can this chassis run at ultra-low speed for precise inspection?

A: Speed adjustable from 0.6km/h to 6.2km/h, the minimum micro speed meets accurate detection demands.

3.Q: How many shock absorbers does the suspension system have?

A: 8 independent hydraulic dampers on left and right sides, greatly reduce vibration on bumpy terrain.

4.Q: Can I upgrade the waterproof level?

A: Standard IP54, customized IP64 waterproof and dustproof is available on request.

5.Q: What’s the max climbing angle of this tracked chassis?

A: Maximum climbing angle reaches 30°, capable of climbing standard stairs and steep slopes.

Precautions

1.Load limit: Do not run over the rated 125KG load for long-term use. Reduce speed while climbing or crossing obstacles under heavy load to avoid chassis scraping.

2.Track protection: Sharp gravel, steel bars and broken glass may cut the rubber tracks. Install track guard plates if working on sharp terrain frequently.

3.Waterproof instruction: Standard IP54 only resists splashing water, do not immerse the chassis. IP64 version supports short-time wading, water depth cannot exceed drive wheel center.
